BUSINESS BENEFITS
How Helium Wi-Fi
helps your business.
Give eligible customers a better way to stay connected—and explore the potential to earn from the traffic your venue supports.
Carrier offload lets participating mobile providers move eligible phone traffic onto local Wi-Fi. It can help where indoor cellular coverage is weak or the cellular network is busy.

WHY HOST?
A useful service for your customers.
An opportunity for your business.
01 · CUSTOMER EXPERIENCEHelp customers stay connected.
Local Wi-Fi coverage can help eligible customers use their phones in areas where indoor cellular service struggles. It is a practical improvement for cafés, shops, gyms and other places people gather.

02 · CUSTOMER CONVENIENCESkip the password hunt.
Compatible, properly provisioned phones on participating carriers can connect automatically using Passpoint. Customers can access supported coverage without asking staff for a guest Wi-Fi password.

03 · MOBILE ENGAGEMENTMake your digital offers easier to use.
Customers need connectivity to browse mobile menus, redeem app offers, access loyalty accounts and complete orders on their phones. Carrier offload can help reduce connectivity barriers to those activities.

04 · POTENTIAL HOST INCOMEExplore an additional income opportunity.
Eligible deployments earn network rewards for qualifying data traffic. A TX HIFI hosting arrangement may provide payments to your business; Aaron can explain the proposed payment terms for your location.
Host payments depend on your agreement. Carrier selection, qualifying usage and network rewards vary; a fixed monthly payout is not guaranteed.

05 · EXISTING INFRASTRUCTUREGet more value from compatible Wi-Fi.
Some existing Passpoint-capable networks can be configured for Helium alongside their existing Wi-Fi service. Other venues may need a dedicated hotspot. TX HIFI can review your equipment, capacity and coverage needs.

Chick-fil-A locations: measured customer usage.
Helium reports the following usage at Chick-fil-A locations on its network during the month covered by its restaurant dataset.
What the figures demonstrate: substantial use of local carrier-offload coverage at these locations. The article relates restaurant connectivity to mobile ordering, loyalty apps and digital offers.
These are Helium-reported operational figures, not an independent Chick-fil-A study. The article does not measure a sales increase or establish corporate Chick-fil-A endorsement. Traffic totals do not identify which apps customers used.

RESEARCH & EVIDENCE
Measured results beyond Helium.
Automatic Wi-Fi access is used across commercial venues. These two reports document real connection activity from other organizations and show how easier access can support the customer experience.
2026 · Wireless Broadband Alliance · Dallas/Irving
Convenient connectivity across hotels and event venues.
During the May 2026 Wireless Global Congress and Network X events, OpenRoaming enabled automatic access across the Irving Convention Center, Westin Irving Convention Center Hotel and participating venues.
- 27,300+ user sessions at the Westin hotel deployment
- 30,800+ successful authentications at that hotel
- More than 1.2 TB of data across participating venues during the event
Business benefit: guests and attendees could move between participating locations without repeated sign-ins or manual network selection.

Automatic access that customers actually use.
In its carrier-offload agreement announcement following a successful market trial, Boingo reported that Passpoint users connected to Wi-Fi:
- Three times more often than average users
- For three times longer than average users
Business benefit: automatic authentication can make a venue’s connectivity easier for eligible customers to access and use.
